Kevin does an amazing job and walking teachers through real ways to bring change to their classroom. Using the principles of the Imagineers he helps us consider all the ways we can sprinkle a little pixie dust into our classroom. This is not a book about decorating and theming your classroom to Disney, but rather uses the main ideas that make Disney(especially the parks),something so many of us love, as guide posts for making our classrooms the best classrooms they can be for our students. A must read no matter your subject or grade level. Having known Mr. Roughton through his website for years, I didn't think he could get everything into a book. I was wrong. He brings out so many great ideas and details that new AND experienced teachers often forget or, due to lack of planning at the beginning of the year (admin - I'm talking to you here), neglect to accomplish. He points out that the detail work that makes Disneyland so successful is what teachers can do to make their classes a magical place for students. And, no, it's not just for elementary students.
