The author has some interesting ideas about how to improve athletic performance and how we move our bodies. I would honestly like to know more ... but this book isn't going to do that. It would be difficult to express those ideas in print - an author would have to structure the text into a series of well organized parts accompanied by stop motion pictures that show a movement in progress through time. THIS IS NOT THAT BOOK. It's interesting to compare this book to something like "The Egoscue Method of Health Through Motion" ... that book gives me almost 50 well explained exercises and the text does a good job of explaining the most common class of problems that his work addresses. I'm not sure what this book gives me.
This book is great for understand how humans should move efficiently avoiding injuries. The concept is clearly explained to be able to pinpoint the errors that generally cause injuries and it provide some exercises. Unfortunately there are just a few photos of exercises and foremost are difficult to understand. If the book gave better explanations about how to do the exercises, definitely it would be a great book. Nonetheless, is a great resource if you want to overcome some problems (back pain, knee pain, etc.), avoid injuries or improve your speed in running.
